Welcome to Town&Gown’s Photo of the Month Contest site!

The Photo of the Month Contest is an exciting way for amateur photographers to share their favorite photos with the community and potentially get published in an upcoming issue of Town&Gown Magazine! The winner will also receive a dinner gift card to a local restaurant.

Each month’s contest will have a specific theme, which will be announced on this site, and in the magazine.

How to submit photos:

1. Click on “sign up now” in the purple Enter Contest box on the top right of the page.
2. Create a user profile
3. Upload photo (two maximum, per month) to the site. (size specifications for photos are listed on the page)
4. After they are uploaded, the photos will go to an administrative site to wait approval by staff of Town&Gown. After the photo is approved, it will be able to be viewed by the public and open for voting.

-By becoming a member of the photo site, you will receive reminders and notifications of contest news.

Voting:

Once posted, all photos appear on the site with a ranking scale from 1-10— 1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest. All visitors to the site can judge the photos.

Winning:

At the end of each month, Town&Gown staff members will select the winning photo from the top rated photos on the site.

The same person cannot win in consecutive months or twice within a six-month period.

Contest Deadlines:

1.) Contests always begin the first of the month and run through the 25th of the month.
